The Career Readiness Center can help with every aspect of your ongoing job search and other facets of your career development, including resume/CV writing, cover letter and personal statement writing, interviewing, as well as providing information on ethics/professionalism in the workplace.

In addition, we invite opportunities for your  involvement in, and sponsorship of, HSC events by speaking to classes, students organizations, and participating in large events!

 

Networking and Job Opportunities

All of our alumni have lifelong access to our job search/networking system, HSC Connect and , as both a job seeker and a hiring manager/employer. This system is available to you free of charge throughout your career journey. To establish an account and seek or post jobs, please visit: . Big Interview Alumni!

Big Interview is HSC’s online virtual interview practice system that helps you learn and refine your interview skills, whether you are interviewing for a job, internship, residency, professional school, or another professional pursuit. The system lets you video record your answers to a variety of pre-packaged, discipline-specific interview modules comprised of questions developed by the experts so that you can review your answers at your leisure, and even share them with colleagues, faculty, and other advisers. Additionally, there are modules that address interview tips, choosing your wardrobe, negotiating, developing your stories and much more!

Go to or for Big Interview Medical (medical residency/fellowship) to access the platform and create a login (you will need to e-mail us first at careercenter@unthsc.edu to get the activation code).

 

For TCOM Alumni/Fellowship Applicants

MIDUS – Medical Institution Document Upload Service
For Fellowship Applications (past TCOM graduates): The ERAS Fellowship Document Office (EFDO) (MIDUS) provides medical schools with the ability to upload the Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) and medical school transcript directly to the ERAS Fellowship Document Office on behalf of an applicant. In order for a medical institution to upload a document using MIDUS, applicants must send an electronic request to their medical institution using EFDO On-line Services. For details or questions, please contact the EFDO at 215-966-3940 or support@erasfellowshipdocuments.org.
